Credit Risk Analyst

The company's advanced scoring system ensures responsible lending, and its own lending system supports business growth also internationally.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about credit risk analysis and advises our Credit Committee on credit risk, loan origination and deals structuring. We invite you to join our innovative risk team in paving the future for the bank's SMEs credit risk portfolio. You will report to the Chief Risk Officer.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Prepare financial analysis and recommendations on customers' futures abilities to repay the loan.

  • Help in deal structuring, covenants and collateralisation.

  • Advise Credit Committee on loan origination, identify alternative solutions; deliver findings on economy and industry outlooks.

  • Recognize early warning signals.

  • Monitor fulfillment of established financial covenants, collateral values.

  • Regulatory requirements on loan origination and collateral evaluations.

Requirements

  • Ideally 1+ years of work experience in SME credit risk analysis, decision making, collateral management within a bank.

  • Strong analytical ability.

  • Excellent command of English and Finnish languages.

  • University degree.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders.

  • Reasonable understanding of European and local regulations relating to corporate lending is an advantage.
